As Marketing Manager for Griffith Foods, I get to work with our Sales, Culinary and R&D Teams, to help bring the best ideas and products to our customers. No day is ever the same! I work with an amazing team of passionate and dedicated people all striving to “create better together”.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in the food industry –
I have always loved food! Cooking it, eating it, learning about new trends and sharing this passion with others. I was looking for a career that would allow me to combine this love of food, with my interest in marketing and business development. After joining the food industry, I really started to understand the opportunities that a career is food could bring. It’s a diverse industry, with so many people that share a passion in bringing the best food possible to consumers.
Top 3 advice tips for students and new grads coming into the industry –
- It doesn’t matter where you get your start. Sometimes this means taking a lower level position than you feel you deserve. Get in, then your hard work and intelligence will get you to the next level.
- Love what you do and the people you work with. Life is too long to dread Mondays.
- Never stop learning. Always think about the next degree, or certification, that will keep you relevant and set you apart from your peers.
